The “People’s” Convention does not operate the way our House of Representative and the United States Senate do. This Chamber is in session twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, and three hundred and sixty five days a year.
We will not accept endorsement by any organization. We seek no National media coverage. Any media coverage will come from local media by way of editorial letters, or stories written by local citizens, or media interviews of petition signatories speaking their own words, without a script, without a teleprompter, without professional advisers or speech writers. Another thing we do differently in the “People’s” Chamber. We do not take money. Not from individuals, organizations, or any special interest of any kind. When detractors use the adage, “follow the money” at the end of the line they will find a budget of 0.
They will find no paid staff, they will find no media campaign. They will find no bank account. How will citizens find us? They will find The Petition from the ground up. They will find us by word of mouth. They will find us from stories in their local small town newspapers. On this site they will find no endorsements from any organization. They will find no advertising or PayPal, please donate, banners.They will only find concerned individual citizens.
